The Kitchen island top was designed and handcrafted by Mountain Construction from a spalted maple slab with the live edge left intact.



The Logs were cut by Hearthstone Homes and completed by Mountain Construction
The home features massive hand-hewn timbers and logs throughout.


We used massive logs to hand craft the stairs.

Hand-peeled pickets form the stair rails.

All pieces used for the stairs were planed and crafted by hand by Mountain Construction's skilled crew.

The open-tread design allows the craftsmanship of the stairs to be enjoyed from many angles.




Round And squared logs were combined




The round-log portico was hand-built on site by our skilled craftsmen.
