 Mountain
Construction Owner Mark Kirkpatrick began
building in 1978. He worked in Nashville and
later in Gatlinburg with a log and timber frame
design and construction company, where he gained
a hands-on construction and design experience.
In 1982 he moved to Boone, NC to start Mountain
Construction.
Mark became a Project Manager and Distributor
for Hearthstone Homes in 1987. He has worked
with Hearthstone on a number of local and
regional projects, both commercial and
residential.
Mark has built over 300 projects in the Boone,
Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and Linville areas as
well as many other communities in Western North
Carolina and Eastern Tennessee.
