1 - Mountain Construction Enterprises, Inc. is a full service residential construction company.  Although we specialize in the use of heavy timbers we do any kind of custom construction. From new homes to remodeling existing homes, our highly experienced crews do the highest quality custom home building found in the high country, or indeed, anywhere.

Our reputation has been built on providing quality construction and the unique replication of our client's vision. Our focus is on enhancing the unique character of our mountain communities. We combine art and nature as part of our work and put a high priority on being environmentally sensitive. We have built in such prestigious local communities as Grandfather Golf and Country Club, Tynecastle, Sugar Mountain, Blowing Rock and Linville.

2 - Hearthstone Homes of Western NC: is a subcontract LOG and TIMBER FRAME service we offer. Working with your general contractor and architect, we provide complete timber entries, great rooms or timber frame home "dry-in" services. As subcontract timber suppliers, we offer residential and commercial timber frame and log services.

While we sell primarily in North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia, we can sell virtually anywhere in the world. We have sold and serviced Timber Frame commercial buildings in places as diverse as Charlotte, N.C., Beaufort, S.C., and the Furniture Market of High Point, N.C.

LOG: Hearthstone Homes offers the traditional 6” x 12” Appalachian Style Log and also the 6” x 14,” 8” x 14,” 8” x 16” and the “live edge” Bob Timberlake Log systems. TIMBER FRAME: Hearthstone also offers the pine timber frame either planed smooth or hand hewn and the oak timber frame. We do also offer a 2” dimensional upgrade on timber frame products. We have a super-sized timber frame in Wilkesboro, NC to show—the larger timbers really look fabulous!

We are proud to offer the Bob Timberlake Log Home Collection in addition to our unique handcrafted log homes that include an engineered through-bolt system and a comprehensive inclusion of product and services such as stain, chinking, insulation, tongue and groove decking and erection services.
